Broomfield Minor Subdivision
Purpose
Any subdivider or developer may apply to the city for a minor subdivision of a tract of land. The city manager, or a designee thereof, must first approve all such applications. At the discretion of the city manager, the city manager may refer the application to the land use review commission for a recommendation.

Town of Erie Minor Subdivision
Purpose
The procedure for Minor Subdivisions, set forth in Municipal Code Title 10 – UDC Chapter 7, shall apply to subdivisions that create four or fewer lots. Parcels are eligible for Minor Subdivision only once, and further subdivisions or newly created parcels shall follow Preliminary and Final Plat procedures.
City and County of Broomfield Subdivision
Description
The preliminary platting process is optional. The developer or subdivider may omit this step and proceed with preparation of a final plat, provided that the final plat must include all contiguous property in one ownership.

Description
Generally the Minor Subdivision process may be used in lieu of the preliminary and final plat processes if certain conditions apply and the Planning Director determines that the subdivision is compatible with surrounding properties.
